1 What is light made of? Light is all around us- even when it seems dark! Visible light is electromagnetic radiation that can be detected by the human eye. Light energy is made of photons. It behaves like both a particle and a wave.

2 Reflection of light waves: Light waves can be reflected at the boundary of two different materials. Angle of incidence = Angle of reflection

2 Refraction of light waves: Light changes the direction of its path when it enters a medium with a different density.
